Your digital data is transferred to a glass master. The glass master is used to create a metal stamper.  The stamper is then mounted onto the disc molding machines.  The disc replication process is a two stage process that occurs inline on the molding machine.  First polycarbonate plastic pellets are injection molded into the shape of your completed disc, then molten aluminum is sputtered to the back surface of the disc creating the reflective layer that makes the disc work when read by the CD players laser.  Your information is stored on the disc as pits in the polycarbonate surface.  A compact disc reader reads the state of the information as either a "hole" or "no hole".

After we replicate the compact disc, we then silk screen or offset print "a label" onto the disc.  We print from one to five colors directly on to the surface of the CD. You may provide your own label artwork, or have our graphic department work with you to create a label using your supplied logo and graphic elements.
